This isn’t a course in the traditional sense—it's a professional renewal circle for those doing the quiet, consequential work of board service. Our aim is to deepen your board practice—for your own growth, for your board’s effectiveness, and for the mission you serve.

Board members often carry the long-view responsibility of ensuring an organization’s mission endures across decades. Yet, too often, their recruitment, orientation, and development are left to chance. Many board members receive little training, unclear expectations, and no meaningful feedback—despite their vital role in organizational health and impact.

If board service is transformational work, it should also be transforming work—shaping those who offer their time, talent, and care. That’s what Table Talk is for: a place to clarify purpose, strengthen practice, and support one another in service.
